DJ Total Eclipse

DJ Total Eclipse is an internationally renowned turntablist and a key member of the legendary New York DJ collective, The X-Ecutioners—widely recognized as one of the most influential DJ groups in the world. His journey into the upper echelon of DJ culture began with a defining victory at the 1996 ITF World DJ Championships, earning him official induction into the group and setting the stage for a career that now spans over three decades.

Known for his electrifying performances and technical mastery on the turntables, DJ Total Eclipse has captivated audiences at clubs, festivals, and corporate events across the globe. His unmatched skill, consistency, and passion have established him as a true icon in the world of DJing—regarded by peers and fans alike as one of the greatest to ever touch two turntables.

With The X-Ecutioners, DJ Total Eclipse achieved early success through their independent debut X-Pressions, leading to a multi-album deal with Sony BMG’s Loud Records. This partnership produced the groundbreaking album Built From Scratch, a critically acclaimed release featuring collaborations with major artists and propelling the group into mainstream recognition. The X-Ecutioners went on to tour alongside global acts such as Eminem, Linkin Park, and more, even sharing the stage with Aerosmith at MTV’s star-studded Icons tribute.

More recently, DJ Total Eclipse starred in the critically acclaimed hip-hop theatre production DeeJay x Dancer, directed by Nick Power. Premiering at the iconic Sydney Opera House, the show celebrated the roots of NYC block party culture and featured Total Eclipse in dynamic performances alongside Australia’s top breakdancers. The production received high praise from the contemporary arts community and media alike.

Now permanently based in Australia, DJ Total Eclipse continues to make waves across the country’s music scene. He has performed at prestigious events such as the ARIA Awards, and serves as the official tour DJ and support act for Hilltop Hoods on all their North American tours since 2016, as well as their award-winning “Restrung Live” and “Show Business” Australian tours.

His recent appearances include major live sets at Australian Supercars events, sharing lineups with artists like Bliss n Eso, Jimmy Barnes, and Carl Cox, performing to thousands in cities including Townsville, the Gold Coast, and Adelaide.
