About Joint Adventure

The year was 2006. After receiving an opportunity to promote the NSW DMC State Finals, 3

music-obsessed friends joined forces to ensure Sydney was represented with an event

which brought life back into the struggling local turntablist scene. It was at that moment,

out of sheer necessity & devotion to Hip Hop Culture that Joint Adventure was born.

Since it’s inception, Joint Adventure has continuously grown, and developed into what has

quickly become one of the most respected organizations in Australia dedicated to the

promotion of Hip Hop, and its various elements.
 

With 20+ years music industry experience under their belt, and a tight knit network that

extends to all corners of the globe, Joint Adventure has been able to offer a variety of

services to assist the needs of their clients including all aspects of Artist Mgmt &

Development, Bookings, Tour Mgmt, Publicity, Marketing, Promotion, Social Media Mgmt,

and more.
 

Over the years Joint Adventure has coordinated tours and promoted shows for international

superstars, including The Gza (Wu-Tang Clan), Masta Ace, Pharoahe Monch, The Beatnuts,

Jeru The Damaja, RA The Rugged Man, EPMD, Rahzel (The Roots), MC Supernatural, The

X-ecutioners, Jean Grae, Lord Finesse (DITC), Edan, Oh No, Jehst, Akrobatik, Louis Logic,

and more. They have exclusively represented local legends including Def Wish Cast,

Dialectrix, Soul Benefits and NTSC, and have booked various shows for nearly every

respected Hip Hop MC and DJ in the country. They currently manage the careers of Sydney

Hip Hop acts Cult Shotta & Lil Golo, and exclusively book DJ Total Eclipse (NYC/AUS) of the

world-famous X-ecutioners DJ collective.
 

Joint Adventure has always been about healthy, effective collaboration. At the core of their

being is the desire to work harmoniously with their artists, venues, local promoters, agents,

managers, labels, sponsors, designers, event staff, and various creatives, to create long

lasting relationships that benefit the greater community. This is an organization built on

trust and respect. An organization that not only gets the job done, but does it with heart

and soul.
